It is important to familiarize yourself with this policy prior to reserving a yacht. By confirming a rental with GreenLivingLifestyle, you consent to and accept these reimbursement conditions.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding handling charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Processing Fee: €50 for transactions via credit card
Conditions: Request must be made in written form through email or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total rental cost
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Processing Fee: €25 subtracted from the reimbursement amount
Conditions: A justifiable cause is needed; administrative charges are applied
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No reimbursement available
Exception: Emergencies may be taken into consideration
Alternative: Voucher for booking may be granted at the discretion of the managers
Conditions: Proof required for emergency circumstances
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety is our utmost concern. Should the weather conditions be deemed hazardous for yacht operations by our licensed skipper, you are presented with versatile options:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling is not an option, a complete refund is available
- Reschedule: Change your booking to another open date at no extra cost
- Charter Credit: Obtain a credit valid for one year from the date of the initial booking
Weather Assessment Process
Our assessment of weather includes:
- Evaluating wind speed and trajectory
- Assessing wave size and ocean conditions
- Forecasts of visibility and precipitation
- Notices and alerts from the Coast Guard
- Professional judgment of the captain on safety
Decision Timeline: Decisions on weather-related cancellations are made at the latest 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We comprehend that medical crises can happen unexpectedly. The conditions listed below may be considered for particular leniency:
- Sudden afflictions or injuries necessitating hospitalization
- Passing of a close family member
- Reassignment or urgent recall in the military
- Jury duty or subpoena
- Natural disasters influencing travel arrangements
Documentation Requirements
To address requests for emergency reimbursement, the following documentation is needed:
- A medical statement or hospital reports
- Death certificate (where applicable)
- Official military orders
- Notice of a court appointment or jury duty
- Travel warnings or declarations of emergency
Processing: Emergency refunds are handled within 3-5 business days after the appropriate documentation has been provided.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
Should the yacht designated to you encounter irreparable mechanical issues:
- Alternative Vessel: We will endeavor to offer a suitable replacement
- Full Refund: When a comparable alternative isn't available
- Partial Refund: If the replacement yacht has a different rate
- Compensation: We may offer additional compensation for the inconvenience
Crew Unavailability
On rare occasions, if a licensed crew is unavailable:
- We will arrange for alternate crew where feasible
- A complete refund if the yachting cannot go ahead
- Alternative booking dates without extra charges
Refund Processing
Payment Method
Refunds are issued back to the original method of payment used at the time of booking:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

Credit Card Processing
A €50 fee applies for cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance
Bank Transfer Processing
A €25 fee is applicable for all bank transfer reimbursements
International Processing
Extra fees might be incurred for transactions made internationally
Charter Credits
When Credits Are Offered
In certain situations, booking vouchers may be extended instead of cash refunds:
- Cancellations made at short notice (under 24 hours prior to charter)
- Charters called off due to weather
- Voluntary changes to scheduled bookings
- Interruptions on account of operations
Credit Terms
- Validity: Effective for 12 months from date of issue
- Transferability: Cannot be transferred to another person
- Value: Equal to the full value of the charter, without any handling charges
- Usage: Applicable to any yacht available for charter
- Expiration: Credits cannot be extended past 12 months
Partial Service Refunds
Service Interruptions
If the time spent on your booked yacht occurs to be shorter than planned due to our operational factors:
- Refund proportionate to the duration not utilized
- Credit towards a future booking of similar value
- Complementary services or upgrades may be offered
Guest-Related Interruptions
If a booking is prematurely concluded because of guest behavior or breaches of safety protocols:
- No compensation for the time not used
- Outstanding payments are still required
- Extra expenses may be applicable
Dispute Resolution
Should you not concur with a decision made regarding your refund, you are entitled to:
- Seek a review from our senior management
- Supply additional information or proof
- Look for a solution through agencies safeguarding consumer rights
- Exercise legal options according to the governing laws

After you reach out to us, we will acknowledge your request within one day, evaluate it in light of this guideline, arrive at a conclusion within two days, and if approved, we will proceed with the refund in the specified time periods.
Important Notes
- Refund applications must be made in writing
- Repayments are carried out in €, regardless of the currency used to pay initially
- It is highly advised to have travel insurance
- This refund policy may be revised, given a notice period of 30 days
- Refunds are subject to the relevant taxes and legal provisions
